So I ThoughtI might want to start drinking again until the scene is dead with a taste of your Valium—trippingSo I Thought
with fumbling legs and eyes
doused in drowsy delusions
of a dead father I can’t seem to remember having.
I’m starting to feel restive in my dizzied head as words spill out
in excess, fogging up my thoughts
until everything becomes a bared
sky hazed with stupor, and when the sun rises it splits in two before my eyes (open
in the morning).
